Twelve people joined the Kairos course in Knights Town, Indiana, USA.  It was an amazing event with people so open and ready to respond to the truth of God’s word.  Pastor Bill, from Christ Fellowship Church, plays a key role in this region and they are now strategizing to do a new church plant in a least reached community in Indiapolis.

Thirteen pastors and church leaders recently took the Kairos course in Mindanao, Philippines.  This course was conducted by Pastor Romualdo, director for cross-cultural ministry of the Conservative Baptist Association of the Philippines.

Pastor Romualdo also led a team of short termers in Mindanao where they had the chance to minister cross-culturally to some least reached people groups.  As a result, the team returned home with a widened vision and deepened understanding of the missionaries’ life and work in the field.  The missionaries were also blessed and encouraged to be more passionate in reaching their target people group for Christ.

lifechanges“In the month of December 2010, I took the Kairos course and my whole perspective of God’s plan and purpose for my life changed.  He kindled in me a fire for the nations and to be a partner in fulfilling His vision.” Then Dennis, who comes from India but currently studying medicine in Romania, goes on to cite Matthew 24:14 as his vision.  Together with two others, he is preparing for a short term mission trip to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda during the school break this July.

Kairos has been adopted by all CAMACOP churches as their mission mobilization tool.  They are one of the largest denomination in the Philippines today.

IMPACTING THE NATIONS THROUGH PRAYER

Print

PrayerPrayers powerfully impact nations! Marinda and Erika, Kairos Course Coordinators, relate these stories of their course graduates:

“Mollie and her grandchildren adopted a least reached people (LRP) group in Mozambique and has been praying for them since last December. About a month after, two missionary teams were sent to this LRP and there is now a small group of believers among them! Meanwhile, the youth group at New Life Church in Indiana, USA, also adopted a least reached people group to pray for. Soon after they started praying, the church in Kirov, Russia, launched a church planting project among this people group.”

May we all then do our part in praying for the Least Reached Peoples of the world. Let us stand in the gap!
